UPPSC Exam 2019 - Syllabus, Complete Details, Study Materials

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) conducts the various examinations for the recruitment of candidates in the State Services and all the other administrative services of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Since 2018, UPPSC is using a new exam pattern. So UPPSC Prelims and Mains exams will be also based on new exam pattern.

UPPSC has released the notification for UP Combined state/upper subordinate services (PCS) for 2018. There is a total of 924 vacancies. And vacancies for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination under General Recruitment are about 831.

UPPSC Exam Pattern

There are a total of 3 stages for this examination:

1. UPPSC Prelims Exam
2. UPPSC Mains Exam
3. Interview

After passing all these 3 stages, the candidate is finally selected based on their ranks.

UPPSC Prelims 2019

UPPSC exam details are as following:

UPPSC Prelims Exam

In the prelim exam, there are two papers. This is also called CSAT.

• For SC/ST: Rs 65/-

UPPSC Syllabus

UPPSC has released its syllabus with the latest notification. There is not much change in UPPSC 2019 syllabus. There are papers in UPPSC Prelims 2019, Paper I and II. You can find the latest syllabus at, the latest UPPSC syllabus 2019.

Study Materials

As per the official notice, the UPPSC 2018 Preliminary Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 28 October 2018. Preliminary Exam consists of 2 papers.

• Paper-I will cover the General Studies section.
• Paper-II will cover CSAT Section.
